The Lerner Research Institute Biorepository (LRI-BioR) provides expert logistics for large and small scale biological sample collection, annotation, storage and distribution services to investigators within the Lerner Research Institute as well as to national networks and trials.
Our project-driven repository model can help researchers with prospective biorepository infrastructure by standardized methods for high-quality biospecimen collection, annotation, storage and distribution as well as assistance in organizing and storing retrospective biospecimen collections. Our core services include standard operating procedures and consultative services and planning for best-in-class samples for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and other specialized assays.
The Lerner Research Institute BioRepository (LRI-BioR) offers short-term storage of biological samples to investigators within the Lerner Research Institute, and long term storage through our partnership with Brooks Life Sciences. The Brooks biostorage facility is located in close proximity to the Lerner Research Institute and offers the opportunity for optimal planning for sample storage and retrieval.
We provide biorepository infrastructure and standardized methods for high-quality biospecimen collection, annotation, storage and distribution as well as assistance in organizing and storing retrospective biospecimen collections. Our core services include standard operating procedures and consultative services for best-in-class samples for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and other specialized assays. The core can also provide shipment preparation for samples to labs at the Lerner Research Institute Main Campus or offsite labs and facilities.
The LRI-BioR offers strategic consultations in partnership with Cleveland Clinic's Biorepository, Cleveland Clinic's Pathology & Lab Medicine Institute and Brooks Life Sciences.
